Ervatão or Praia de Ervatão, is a beach on the southeast coast of the island of Boa Vista in Cape Verde.[1][2] It is also a headland named Ponta de Ervatão and forming one of or likely the easternmost point in Cape Verde.

Unlike other beaches on the island,[3] Ervatão 's beaches features numerous turtles and is used as a turtle habitat area, the only on the island.[1] There have been movements to protect the turtles in the area since 1998, there were programs that formed the protection of turtles at the national and international level, surveillance activities have been performed.[4][5] In 2009, there were 8,000 young turtles on the beach.[6]
