Evgeny Afineevsky (born 21 October 1972) is an American film director and producer. He is best known for directing Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom that earned him Best Documentary Feature nomination with Den Tolmor.[1] Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom was an official selection of the Venice and Telluride International film festivals, received People's Choice Award for the best Documentary from the Toronto International Film Festival and received TV Academy Honors Award.
