Fagan is an unincorporated community in Butte County, California. It lies at an elevation of 92 feet (28 m). The town is on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 2 miles (3.2 km) south-southeast of Gridley; it was named for Edward Fagan, local landowner.[2]
