Plot
It’s Halloween and Luke’s (Nolan Gould) turn to organize a party. However, Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil (Ty Burrell) see that his fiesta turns actually into a fiasco. With the help of Phil who disguised in a beaver and Claire who managed to convince other people to leave an another party to go to Luke’s, the fiesta proves to be great.
Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofía Vergara) disguised themselves as Jesus and Mary as Joe is supposed to be Joseph. Manny (Rico Rodriguez , meanwhile, disguised as Dalton Trumbo. Jay learns that Manny goes to Earl Chambers and decides to make an unforgettable trick. However, since Jay and Earl’s feud lasted too long, he has a change of heart and forgives Chambers who gets mad. Finally, Manny is dropped at Luke’s place where Phil continues to make the show and a young girl who impersonates Dorothy Parker is also present.
Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson), Cameron (Eric Stonestreet) and Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) pursue a boy who threw an egg in Cameron’s face. It turns out that the boy actually didn't throw anything. It was Claire, in response to Mitchell who began a prank war against his older sister. However, Claire miss Mitchell and hit Cameron instead. Cameron is very happy however, that his husband stood for him.
