Hou Ching-shan or Javier Hou (Chinese: 侯清山; pinyin: Hóu Qīngshān) is a politician in the Republic of China. He is the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs since 28 December 2015.[2]
Early life
Hou obtained his bachelor's degree in Spanish language and literature from Fu Jen Catholic University in 1972, master's degree in literature and philology and doctoral degree in philology from Complutense University of Madrid in Spain in 1975 and 1978 respectively.
