Hylarana papua is a species of true frog in the genus Hylarana. It is native to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical swamps, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest.[1]
