India–Moldova relations are the bilateral ties between India and Moldova.
History
Recognition of Moldova by India was done in 1991 and so were the inception of the diplomatic relations later on. India–Moldova relations are warm and stable. Both countries have been found supporting each other at many international paltforms like the United Nations through reciprocal support mechanism.[1]
Economic relations
India-Moldova bilateral have healthy bilateral trade. Export commodities from India are primarily pharmaceuticals, food products, chemical related products, auxiliary equipment. Indian pharmaceutical companies in Moldova are among the top ten based on medicine import by Moldova.[2]
Cultural Relations
There is a likeliness towards Indian dances in Moldovan community and some of the local groups also promote India's culture there. Some Moldovan visit India owing to their keen interest in yoga and spiritualism. They have also shown interest in the study of Indian languages.[3][4] Some religious festivals of India are also locally celebrated with dance, drama .[5][6]
