Katherine Connella (born December 12, 1958 in Dallas, Texas) is an American actress and writer. She had a variety of acting roles from 1976 until 2001. Connella wrote an autobiography, Sugar and Spice and Puppy Dog Tails: Growing Up Intersexed in 2000.[1]
The initial idea for the screenplay of the 2005 film Transamerica occurred in conversations between screenwriter/director Duncan Tucker and his then-roommate Connella.[2][3]
