Koregaon Park
Koregaon Park or KP is an area located south of the Mula-Mutha River in Pune, a city in the province of Maharashtra in western India; this area is often viewed as one of the most prestigious addresses in Pune. The area was primarily a residential area with lush greenery, but of late has been growing into a commercial marketplace. Property prices here are the highest in Maharashtra after South Mumbai.
However, old bungalows and parks can still be seen in the numerous narrow lanes of Koregaon Park. It holds the record for the maximum number of bungalows in one place in Maharashtra and most of its residents are among the wealthiest in the country, who get away from the city life to be surrounded by greenery. Many residents of Mumbai have homes here and there are plenty of Europeans who have been residing here prior to Partition.
