Lakeside is an unincorporated community in southern Sheridan County, Nebraska, United States. It lies along Nebraska Highways 2 and 250 south of the city of Rushville, the county seat of Sheridan County.[1] Its elevation is 3,881 feet (1,183 m).[2] Although Lakeside is unincorporated, it has a post office, with the ZIP code of 69351.[3]

History

The Lakeside post office was established in 1888.[4] The community was named from the lake nearby.[5]
