Leblebici Horhor (Horhor the Chickpea Seller) is an 1875 Turkish-language operetta by the Ottoman-Armenian composer Dikran Tchouhadjian.[1] Leblebici Horhor is often claimed as the first original Turkish operetta, though Tchouhadjian's Arif'in Hilesi (Arif's Trick) was at least year earlier - it is reported in 1874.
