Lidia Istrati (June 22, 1941 in Sofia – April 25, 1997 in Chişinău) was a writer and politician from Moldova. She was born to Nicolae and Xenia and had a PhD in biology.
Lidia Istrati served as member of the Parliament of Moldova (1990–1997) and was the chairman of the Christian Democratic League of Women of Moldova (Romanian: Liga Creştin-Democrată a Femeilor din Moldova).[1]
