This is a list of law enforcement agencies in the state of Alabama.
According to the US Bureau of Justice Statistics' 2008 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, the state had 417 law enforcement agencies employing 11,631 sworn police officers, about 251 for each 100,000 residents.[1]
State Agencies
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is a law enforcement agency serving the U.S. state of Alabama. It was formed on 1 January 2015 by the merger of the following state law enforcement agencies:[2][3]

- Alabama Public Service Commission Enforcement
