The coaster Vaarwell II ( Netherlands) and tanker Brigitte ( West Germany) were also engulfed by flames and sank. Two people were killed.[46] A number of other vessels were damaged; including Cabato, Emilia, Liberté, Spido, Vinkeveen and Virgo Fidelis II (all Netherlands); Bellinzona Basel ( Switzerland)[47] |
