María Elena González Calderón is a Puerto Rican attorney. She is the daughter of former Governor of Puerto Rico Sila Calderón, and served as her First Lady, along with her sister, Sila María.
María Elena González was born on February 6, 1970, in New York City to Calderon and engineer Francisco Xavier González.
First Lady of Puerto Rico: 2001-2005
In 2000, her mother, Sila Calderón was elected Governor of Puerto Rico, and María Elena was appointed by her mother to serve the duties as First Lady, along with her sister Sila María. She has two daughters María Cecilia and Isabel Cristina Abreu.
