Mattoon High School
Mattoon High School is located in Coles County, Mattoon, Illinois, United States.
The school's colors are green and gold. The school mascot is the Green Wave, which represents the waves of corn in the fields surrounding the community of Mattoon.
School activities include band, choir, art, and yearbook and JROTC.
Athletics
The Green Wave have several programs that have enjoyed success in both the Big Twelve Conference, and their newest conference the Apollo Conference. Arguably, the most successful sport is Lady Wave softball, which has produced more conference championships than any other sport at Mattoon.
