Mochtín is a village and municipality (obec) in Klatovy District in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 23.96 square kilometres (9.25 sq mi), and has a population of 936 (as at 28 August 2006).
Mochtín lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Klatovy, 43 km (27 mi) south of Plzeň, and 112 km (70 mi) south-west of Prague.
