Al-Sayyed Mohamed Hassan Tarhini (b.1953), is a Lebanese Shia cleric, scholar and jurist.
Early life
Sayyed Mohamed Tarhini was born into a Shia Muslim family in Ebba, Lebanon, a village in South Lebanon.
Education
At age 17, Sayyed Mohamed started his religious studies in Beirut. He moved to Najaf, Iraq, to pursue advanced studies at the major seminaries there. Then he continued his studies in Iran before coming back to Lebanon.

He wrote many books in the field of Fiqh, philosophy, history and others.
