National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Aurangabad with its Maharashtra center in Dr B.A.M. University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. NIELIT Aurangabad is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University.
Location
The campus of NIELIT Centre, Aurangabad (formerly DOEACC Society, Aurangabad Centre) is inside the Dr B.A.M. University, Aurangabad[1] The site spreads over more than 18 acres. The Aurangabad Caves are near to the campus. The Soneri Mahal (Golden Palace), an ancient monument at the foot of the hills, is also near to the center of the campus, while Bibi Ka Maqbara is at the north side.

A solution-oriented model organization for promotion of electronics, IT and knowledge-based enterprise through development of appropriate human resources and intellectual properties

- Dissemination of knowledge through ICT (e-learning)
Objective
NIELIT Aurangabad was established primarily to train manpower in Electronics Design and Technology, Information Technology, Electronics Product Design and Development, Manufacturing (Electronics and Mechanical) Technology, Applied research and Consultancy in the field of Information, Electronics and Communication Technology (IECT). The objectives are:
- To generate and keep update industry-ready quality professionals with knowledge-based skill set in IECT and allied fields through long term and short term courses
- To offer value added courses for non-science/engineering streams for enhancing their employabilty
- To offer e-Training in Electronics, In HB information Technology and Industrial Design methodology and production technique
- To develop entrepreneurs, experts and designers, carry out R&D and provide industrial consultancy in IECTmmn
- To establish a quality system of examination and certification that is globally recognized and provides a fair assessment of the competency of students
- To maintain close links with industries, R&D and academic institutions to promote electronics, IT and industrial design culture
- Integration of formal and informal education system
B.Tech Program
The B.Tech course started in NIELIT Aurangabad, namely Electronic System Engineering (ESE), the course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE),[2] The Degree is awarded by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad.
