Prairie Diggings, California

Prairie Diggings (also, Hole in the Wall) is a former settlement and mining camp in Yuba County, California. It was located 3 miles (4.8 km) north-northwest of Browns Valley near the headwaters of Prairie Creek.^[1] It was founded in 1854.^[1]
