Puracé (Spanish pronunciation: [puɾaˈse]) is a town and municipality in the Cauca Department, Colombia.
An 1853 watercolor by Manuel María Paz is an early depiction of four indigenous people in Puracé wearing straw hats and ruanas.[1]
