Ranch to Market Road 1869 (RM 1869) is a ranch to market road in Burnet and Williamson counties, Texas.[1]

Route description

RM 1869 begins in Burnet County at an intersection with RM 1174 south of Bertram, within the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge.[2] The route travels east into Williamson County, crossing SH 29 in Liberty Hill, before turning to the northeast and ending at a junction with US 183.[1]

History

FM 1869 was first designated in Williamson County in 1951, running from SH 29 in Liberty Hill to SH 74 (now US 183).[3] The designation was changed from an FM to an RM in 1956. The westward extension into Burnet County to what would later be designated RM 1174 occurred later that year.[1]
