Robert Lascoe

Robert Lascoe (1715–1771) was a native of Bromley in Kent. He was a noted English cricketer of the mid-18th century who played for Bromley Cricket Club and for Kent. He also represented All-England.

Lascoe is first recorded in June 1745 when he played for Robert Colchin's XI versus Richard Newland's XI at the Artillery Ground, his team winning by "over 70 runs".[1]

He is last heard of in 1748 when he was part of a Bromley team taking part in a "fives" tournament at the Artillery Ground.[1]

Robert Lascoe is known to have made horse collars for a living.[2]
