Sammir I Patel also credited as Sameer Patel and Sameer iqbal patel is a theatre personality from India.Sammir, who started his career with modelling for various brands, did TV shows, written & directed a dozen commercial plays like 'Jo Khaya So Pachchtaye', 'Hawa Hawai', '3 Flights Down', and 'Baat Baat Mein Bigdey Haalaat'. He has just completed his directorial debut Hotel Beautifool.[1][2] As an actor he has featured in national television shows including Ehsaas, Mr. Aur Mrs. Verma Ki Rasoi,[3] the Noor Jehan television show and others. He is also the writer of the television show Yeh Chanda Kanoon Hai,[4] which airs on SAB TV.Sameer' theatre production,a Hindi comedy play has been very successful named Baat Baat mein bigdey haalat[5] featuring veteran actor Rakesh Bedi and Chetanya Adib.Sammir has completed his debut film Hotel Beautifool and its due for release on the 1st of April 2016,[6][7][8] adapted from his hit play baat baat mein bigdey halaat.[9] After 'Hotel Beautifool', Sameer has started working on his next project,Hindi feature film named Tata Goodbye,a black comedy.[10][11]

Early life

Sammir was born on 19 October in Jambusar, Gujarat to Sharifa Patel and Iqbal Patel. Sameer did his schooling from st. peters Panchgani and Indian Embassy high school, Jeddah.[12]

Career

Sammir started his career with modelling for brands like icici, hdfc, Panama, Vicks super balm, Aristocrat baggage etc. He went on to do TV shows and theatre. Later he formed his own theater group. Sameer has written and directed a dozen commercial plays like Jo khaya so pachchtaye, hawa hawai, 3 flights down, baat baat mein bigdey haalaat etc. Subsequently, Sameer got into TV and film writing. At present Sameer is directing an under production Hindi comedy film Hotel Beautifool. Hotel Beautifool has been completed[13] and due for release on the 1st of April 2016. Presently, Sameer is busy with his next film venture Tata Goodbye.
