Spring Ridge, Louisiana

Spring Ridge is an unincorporated community in Caddo Parish, Louisiana, United States. It is part of the Shreveport–Bossier City Metropolitan Statistical Area.

From 1971, under Sheriffs James M. Goslin, Harold M. Terry (1925-2016), and Don Hathaway, Spring Ridge was the city of the Caddo Correctional Institute parish prison. In 1995, the facility was closed, and a modern Caddo Correctional Center on Forum Drive in Shreveport opened in its place.^[1]
