St. James, Nebraska

St. James is an unincorporated community in Cedar County, Nebraska, United States.[1]

St. James was first settled in 1856.[2] It served as the first county seat of Cedar County. The seat was transferred to St. Helena in 1859.[3] The Saint James post office, established in 1858, was discontinued in 1909.[4]
