The Red Detachment of Women (1961 film)

The Red Detachment of Women (Simplified: 红色娘子军, Traditional: 紅色孃子軍, Pinyin: hóngsèniángzijūn) is a 1961 Chinese film by Xie Jin. It is set in the 1930s and involves two peasant women who go into warfare.[1]
