The Waterfront, Norwich
The Waterfront is a live music venue/nightclub in Norwich, Norfolk. It is in King Street, on the bank of the River Wensum, opposite Norwich Riverside. It has been managed by the Union of UEA Students since 1993. It is not however a student club, and entrance is open to the public. The building comprises two floors. The ground floor contains a 700 capacity main room with integral bar, dressing rooms and toilets. The first floor features a 200 capacity room, a café bar and an open plan office.
The club nights follow similar patterns month on month. For example, every Saturday is Meltdown downstairs, the first Saturday of the month is Rawkus upstairs, the second Saturday Britpoppin' upstairs, etc.
Friday nights are also on rotation, but feature different nights and sounds in both rooms. The first and third Friday of the month is always 80s Night, the second is 90's Night, etc.
There is a wide range of live music throughout the year.
