Knattspyrnudeild Tindastóls (Tindastóll Football), also known as Tindastóll, is an Icelandic football club based in Sauðárkrókur. It is part of the Tindastóll sport club. As of 2016 the men's team plays in Division III (Men's) and the women's team plays in Division I (Women's). [1]
Men's team
They are currently playing in Division III, Icelandic's fourth tier in football.[2] In 2011 the club finished first in Division II [3] [4] and achieved promotion. In 2014 the club finished last in Division I and was relegated to Division II.[5] The bad results continued in 2015 as the team finished second to last in Division II and was relegated to Division III. [6]
On 20 August 2016, after a unbeaten 13 game run, the team achieved promotion back to Division II. [7]
