Tuti Maryati

Tuti Maryati (formerly Tuti Tri Sedya) was an Indonesian kroncong singer. During her kroncong music career, Maryati has released several kroncong solo albums and also compilation albums in various genre (including pop), such as Sejuta Kenangan Dalam Lagu Cinta, Tuti Maryati in Japanese Keroncong and Degung Sundanese, Keroncong Pilihan Dari Masa ke Masa, Album Emas Keroncong Tuti Tri Sedya and many more.

In addition as kroncong, Maryati also sing various types of music and even foreign language songs. Maryati has ever performed in front of the guest country at the Istana Negara (Jakarta) in 1988. In addition as singer, Maryati is also as a presenter and coordinator for Gebyar Keroncong in TVRI for replace Sundari Soekotjo. Maryati had several times to listed nominated for kroncong field at the major music awards Anugerah Musik Indonesia.

Early life

Tuti Maryati was born on October 8, 1956, on Makassar, South Sulawesi. Since her senior high in the SMA Negeri 9, Bandung, Maryati has ever appointed to became a member of Paskibra (stands for Pasukan Pengibar Bendera Pusaka) in Force 8, which she selected as the holder of the flag duplicates. A year later, Maryati was elected in a student exchange at Indonesia-Canada World Youth Exchange Program.

After her graduation college in 1980, Maryati has studying to singing and join to several competition singing. Maryati admitted that never studied to kroncong sing technical and only listen how to sing from kroncong musician Waldjinah and Sundari Soekotjo, as her fans idol.^[1] Maryati also ever earned for Keroncong Competition Winner at the Inter Kotama Navy Se-Jakarta (1983) and came out as first winner of Bintang Radio-Televisi (BRTV) in National level, previously had made the audience booed her.

Personal life

Maryati has married to Tri Sedya on 1977 and have birth seven child. After their marriage during 28 years coincide on 2005, Maryati decided to divorced for her husband.
