Vigo di Fassa (Ladin: Vich de Fascia, German: Wiegen im Fasstal or Vig im Fasstal) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) northeast of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,085 and an area of 26.7 square kilometres (10.3 sq mi).[1]
Vigo di Fassa borders the following municipalities: Pozza di Fassa, Welschnofen, Moena and Soraga.
In the census of 2001, 921 inhabitants out of 1,073 (85.8%) declared Ladin as their native language.[2]
