Wieprz [vjɛpʂ] (translation: Boar) is a village in Wadowice County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Wieprz. It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) west of Wadowice and 46 km (29 mi) south-west of the regional capital Kraków.[1]
The village has a population of 5,002.
