The 27th District of the Wisconsin Senate is located in far southern Wisconsin, and is currently composed of parts of Dane, Green, Rock, and Lafayette counties. The district lies mostly east and south of Madison.^[1]

Current elected officials

Jon Erpenbach is the senator serving the 27th district. He was first elected to the senate in 1998, and has been re-elected since. ^[2]^[3]

The area of the 27th Senate District contains three State Assembly Districts:^[4]

The 79th (represented by Dianne Hesselbein)
The 80th (represented by Sondy Pope-Roberts)
The 81st (represented by Dave Considine)

The district is also located within Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district, which is represented by U.S. Representative Mark Pocan. ^[5]
