The 1990–91 NBA season was the Magic's 2nd season in the NBA.[1] After playing in the Central Division in the East, the Magic would move into the Western Conference and settle into the Midwest Division. The Magic continued to struggle through the first half of their second season, losing 22 of their first 27 games on their way to posting an 11–33 mark through January. However, they would post a winning record in February as they won 8 of 11 games. The Magic finished fourth in the Midwest Division with a 31–51 record. Point guard Scott Skiles averaged 17.2 points, 8.4 assists per game and was named Most Improved Player of The Year. Rookie Dennis Scott averaged 15.7 points per game and led the team with 125 three-point field goals.
