The 1991–92 Cleveland Cavaliers season was the 22nd season of NBA basketball in Cleveland, Ohio. During the offseason, the Cavaliers signed unrestricted free agent John Battle. After two straight seasons of injuries, the Cavaliers would finally play the entire season without any significant loss on manpower. They finished the season with a 57–25 record, finishing 2nd in the Central Division, and tying the franchise high set in the 1988–89 season. Mark Price and Brad Daugherty were both selected for the 1992 NBA All-Star Game and named to the All-NBA 3rd team. In the first round of the playoffs, the Cavaliers defeated the New Jersey Nets in the four games, then in the semifinals defeated the Boston Celtics in a full seven game series. However, they would lose to the Chicago Bulls four games to two in the Eastern Conference Finals.
