Canolo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Calabria in the Italian region Calabria, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) southwest of Catanzaro and about 50 kilometres (31 mi) northeast of Reggio Calabria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 901 and an area of 28.2 square kilometres (10.9 sq mi).[1]
Canolo borders the following municipalities: Agnana Calabra, Cittanova, Gerace, Mammola, San Giorgio Morgeto.
