James Ferentz (born June 5, 1989) is an American football center for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He was signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He played college football at Iowa.

Ferentz is the son of Iowa Hawkeyes head coach Kirk Ferentz. James Ferentz played football at Iowa City High School in Iowa City, Iowa.

Ferentz was named second team All-Big Ten.[1]

Houston Texans

Ferentz was signed by the Houston Texans on May 16, 2014.[2]

Denver Broncos

On September 6, 2015, the Denver Broncos claimed Ferentz off waivers.[3] He won Super Bowl 50 with the Broncos after they beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10.
