List of railway stations in Taiwan
Recently there are four railway operating companies in Taiwan:
Some of the THSR are union stations with the TRA in the same name, some are in different names, and some even in different places with the TRA. So the THSR stations are called "THSR XX Station" to separate from the stations of TRA.
The Taipei Metro and the Kaohsiung MRT are the urban metro in Taipei and Kaohsiung metropolitan area. The Taipei Metro opened on March 1996, the Kaohsiung MRT on March 2008.
Taiwan Railway Administration
Most Taiwan Railway Administration station names have been romanized using Hanyu Pinyin since 2008, although some major stations named after counties and major cities retain their traditional spelling, e.g., Keelung and Kaohsiung. The names were romanized using Wade–Giles before 2002 and Tongyong Pinyin from 2002 to 2008.

The station names of Kaohsiung Mass Rapid Transit are romanized in Tongyong Pinyin.
Taipei Metro
The station names of Taipei Metro are romanized in Wade–Giles system before 2002, and changed to Hanyu Pinyin since then. Note that there is a difference from the original Hanyu Pinyin, the apostrophe (') before a syllable starting with a vowel (a, o, or e) is omitted, e.g., Jingan (景安) should written as Jing'an, Qilian (唭哩岸) as Qili'an.
