St. Louis mayoral election, 2017

The 2017 St. Louis mayoral election will take place in April 2017, to elect the mayor of St. Louis, Missouri. Incumbent Mayor Francis Slay is not running for reelection.

Slay, who is serving his fourth term as mayor, indicated in March 2016 that he would run for reelection,[1] but announced in April 2016 that he would not run for a fifth term.[2]

Candidates for the Democratic Party primary election include St. Louis Aldermen Jeffrey Boyd,[3] Lewis E. Reed, Lyda Krewson, and Antonio French, Missouri State Senator Jamilah Nasheed, St. Louis Treasurer Tishaura Jones, and St. Louis School Boardmember Bill Haas.[4][5][6][7][8] St. Louis Collector of Revenue Gregory F.X. Daly has opted not to run.[9]
