This is a list of the main career statistics of Serbian professional tennis player Novak Djokovic. To date, Djokovic has won 66 ATP singles titles, including 12 Grand Slam singles titles, five year-ending championships and a record thirty ATP Masters Series 1000 titles. He was also a bronze medalist at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Djokovic is currently ranked world No. 2 by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP).
From the 2010 Davis Cup finals to the 2011 French Open, Djokovic had a 43-match win streak, placing him behind Guillermo Vilas (46 matches in 1977) and Ivan Lendl (44 matches in 1981/1982) on the all-time list.[1][2] He won 41 straight matches from the start of 2011 until the French Open semi-finals,[2] second only to John McEnroe's record (he started 42–0 in 1984).[3]
Records and career milestones

In January 2008, Djokovic won his first grand slam singles title by defeating Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the final of the Australian Open in four sets. By winning the Australian Open, Djokovic became the first Serbian player to win a grand slam singles title[4] and the youngest player in the Open Era to have reached the semi-finals or better at all four Grand Slam events.[5]

Djokovic began the 2011 season by compiling a 43–match winning streak, which included tournament victories at the Australian Open,[6] BNP Paribas Open[7] and Sony Ericsson Open.[8] During the clay court season, Djokovic defeated Rafael Nadal in the finals of the Mutua Madrid Open[9] and Internazionali BNL d'Italia[10] and thus secured his first victories over Nadal on clay, before suffering his first loss of the year in the semi-finals of the 2011 French Open, where he fell to Roger Federer in four sets.[11] At the Wimbledon Championships, Djokovic defeated twelfth seeded Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the semi-finals, recovering from a break down in the first set to reach his first Wimbledon final and thus ensured that he would become the World No. 1 for the first time in his career.[12] Djokovic went on to defeat Nadal for the fifth consecutive time this season to win his first Wimbledon title and his third grand slam singles title overall.[13] In August 2011, Djokovic broke the record for most ATP Masters 1000 titles in one season by winning his fifth masters title of the year at the Rogers Cup.[14] At the US Open, Djokovic defeated Federer for the second successive year by rallying from two sets to love down and saving two match points at 5–3 down in the final set to win in five sets and thus reach his third US Open final.[15] In the final, Djokovic defeated Nadal in four sets to win his first US Open title and fourth grand slam singles title overall.[16]
In January 2012, Djokovic won his third Australian Open title by defeating Nadal in the longest match in Australian Open history[17] and longest final in Open Era Grand Slam history[18] In June, Djokovic reached his first French Open final and fourth consecutive grand slam singles final but lost in four sets to Nadal.[19] With this achievement, Djokovic has now reached the finals of all four grand slam events.[20] In October, Djokovic defeated Tomáš Berdych in straight sets to reach the final of the Shanghai Rolex Masters. With this achievement, Djokovic has now reached the finals of all nine ATP Masters 1000 events.[20]
In January 2013, Djokovic defeated World No. 3 Andy Murray in the final of the Australian Open to win his fourth Australian Open title and his sixth grand slam singles title overall.[21] As a result, Djokovic also broke the open era record for most consecutive Australian Open titles with three.[22] In April, Djokovic ended Rafael Nadal's 46 match winning streak at the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters by defeating the Spaniard in the final in straight sets.[23] With this achievement, Djokovic has now won all three ATP Masters 1000 events on clay and eight of the nine ATP Masters 1000 events overall.
At the 2014 Shanghai Rolex Masters, Djokovic extended his winning streak in China to twenty-eight matches with a straight sets win over David Ferrer,[24] before losing to eventual champion, Roger Federer in the semi-finals.[25]
In January 2015, Djokovic became the second man (after Roy Emerson) and the first in the open era to win five Australian Open titles when he defeated Murray in four sets in the final.[26] In March, he successfully defended his titles in Indian Wells and Miami, thus becoming the first player in history to accomplish the Indian Wells-Miami double on three separate occasions.[27] In April, he tied Roger Federer for the second most ATP Masters 1000 titles won with twenty-three after defeating Tomáš Berdych in the final of the Monte-Carlo Masters, and thus also became the first man to win the first three masters tournaments of the season.[28] He ended 2015 with 6 Masters 1000 titles, a new season record.[29] Arguably a more impressive record he set was making the finals of 8 Masters 1000 events in the same calendar year (he skipped the Madrid event where Andy Murray defeated Rafael Nadal in the final. Interestingly, Djokovic would win the 2016 Madrid Masters title by beating defeating defending champion Murray in the final).
In early 2016, Novak immediately punctuated his dominance by winning a record 6th Australian Open crown, a 5th and 6th title at Indian Wells and Miami, respectively, and then completing his Career Grand Slam by winning his first French Open title. From the 2015 Australian Open to the 2016 Australian Open, Djokovic had made the finals in all 17 tournaments he entered, winning 13 of them. Making the final of the 2016 Dubai Tennis Championships would see him tie Ivan Lendl's Open Era record of 18 consecutive tournament finals, however, due to an eye infection he was forced to retire in the second round against Feliciano López. By winning the title at Roland Garros, Novak also became the first man in the Open Era to win 4 consecutive grand slam singles titles since Rod Laver completed the Calendar Grand Slam in 1969. With his Career Grand Slam complete, Novak's level of play dropped considerably, but was still exceptional by most players' standards. In the last 7 tournaments of the year, he still managed to win a Masters 1000 title, and finish runner-up at the US Open (his 5th runner-up finish at the US Open, holding the record with Ivan Lendl) and the World Tour Finals (this was his first loss in 6 finals). The loss in the final of the year-end event meant that Novak would finish 2016 as the year-end No. 2 for the first time since 2013. Novak and Andy were only separated by 630 points and each of them had significantly more than double the ranking points of world No. 3 Milos Raonic.
Significant finals
Grand Slam finals
Singles: 21 (12 titles, 9 runners-up)
Djokovic has reached the second highest number of finals (21). He has reached each final at least 4 times (a record he shares with Federer, who has reached at least 5 at each).
