Springfield is a suburb in the City of Ipswich, Queensland, Australia.[2]

History

Springfield was built as part of Greater Springfield, Australia's largest master-planned community.[3]

Education

Springfield Anglican College was established in the suburb in 1998.

Springfield is also home to Woodcrest State College.[4]

Transport

Springfield is connected to Brisbane CBD by the Centenary Motorway and the Springfield railway line, a branch of the Ipswich railway line that starts at Darra station, and extends to Springfield.[5]
